The 30-day promise

Standard-size rugs bought at homeandkraft.com can be returned for any reason within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. No restocking fees on standard sizes.

We mean it about living with it first. Washing your rug does not void your return. Normal signs of everyday use, a little pet hair or evidence that you followed our wash instructions are all fine. Items returned in a condition beyond normal wear and tear may not qualify for a full refund.

Exchanges

Prefer a different size, colour or weave? Exchange once, free of charge, within the same 30-day window. If the new rug costs less, we refund the difference; if it costs more, we charge the difference. An exchanged item cannot be exchanged again, and promo codes do not apply to exchanges.

What cannot be returned

• Custom-size and custom-shape rugs are made to your exact measurements and cannot be resold, so they are final sale. They remain fully covered by our craftsmanship warranty and our damaged-in-transit promise.
• Swatches and gift cards are final sale.
• Items marked Final Sale at purchase.
• Rugs bought through third-party retailers, which must be returned through the original seller.

How to return

• Step 1: email hello@homeandkraft.com with your order number and delivery ZIP or postal code, or start a chat on any page.
• Step 2: we email you a prepaid shipping label (US) or return instructions (Canada) within 1 business day.
• Step 3: fold the rug in its original packaging, or similar protective packaging, and attach the label.
• Step 4: once received, refunds are processed within 5 business days, plus 2-3 business days for your bank to post it.

Craftsmanship warranty

Every rug, including custom sizes, carries a 1-year warranty against defects in weave, construction and edge binding under normal home use and washing per our care guide. Warranty claims are remade or refunded at our cost.
