Terms of Sale
These terms apply every time you buy from homeandkraft.com. The short version: made-to-order, honestly priced, and covered by real guarantees.
1. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email your order confirmation, at which point a contract is formed. We may decline or cancel orders for suspected fraud, pricing errors or stock issues, with a full refund of anything paid.
2. Made to order and custom items
Every rug is made to order and enters production quickly. You may cancel or change any order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing hello@homeandkraft.com. After 24 hours, standard-size orders can still be returned under our Returns & Exchange policy after delivery; custom-size and custom-shape rugs are final sale once in production, because they are cut to your measurements.
3. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in USD or CAD depending on your selected currency and are confirmed at checkout. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect confirmed orders. If a rug is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to error, we may cancel and refund the order.
4. Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna. Klarna instalments are subject to Klarna's own terms and eligibility checks. Payment is captured when your order is confirmed, because production begins against it.
5. Delivery and risk
Delivery timelines and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes on receipt of full payment. Delivery dates are estimates made in good faith; delays caused by carriers or events beyond our control do not entitle you to compensation beyond your statutory rights.
6. Returns, exchanges and warranty
Our 30-day return promise, one-time exchanges and the 1-year craftsmanship warranty are set out in Returns & Exchange and form part of these terms. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
7. Washability and care
Our rugs are machine washable when cared for per the Care & Washing Guide (cold gentle cycle, mild detergent, air dry flat). Damage caused by care outside the guide, harsh chemicals or commercial machines is not covered by the warranty.
8. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, materials shortages, natural events or labour disputes. If such an event delays your order by more than 30 days, you may cancel undelivered items for a full refund.
